The fast food chain is expanding its menu to include a new Collector’s Meal in recognition of its patrons and their fondness for McDonald’s mementos. One of six cups, evoking the iconic McDonald’s items of the past, will be served with every meal.
McDonald’s, Barbie and Hot Wheels, Beanie Babies, Coca-Cola, Hello Kitty and Peanuts, Shrek, Jurassic Park, and Minions are a few of the available collector cups.
“Getting that one hard-to-find McDonald’s souvenir or the last item to finish your collection is an indisputable joy. With a new twist, we’re bringing back some of our most beloved mementos to give fans a tangible memory,” stated Morgan Flatley, McDonald’s Head of New Business Ventures and Global Chief Marketing Officer. “These new collectible cups honor some of our most iconic designs and international partnerships throughout the years, enabling devoted followers to relive priceless moments and assisting a new generation in creating their enduring memories.”
The cups are available in two Collector’s Meals: a breakfast version and a lunch/dinner version.
Served during breakfast hours, the Collector’s Meal consists of a hot coffee, hash brown, and sausage muffin with an egg sandwich. The Collector’s Meal, available for the remainder of the day, consists of French fries, a soft drink, and a 10-piece McNugget or Big Mac of your choosing.
On August 13, a limited-edition McDonald’s Collector’s Meal will be available. You’d better get hunting for all six of the special-edition cups right now if you want them because it’s unclear how long you’ll have to accumulate them.
